Fond Farewell to our Summer Outreach Intern
Over the course of the summer, I really enjoyed my time with Hands on Thomas County. Through the Impact ROI internship program, I was given the opportunity to learn more about myself and Thomas County. My favorite part of the internship was by far all of the people I met in the community during the summer.
Last Week of Summer Outreach!
I’m sad to say that my summer of outreach is coming to an end. And what a great last week of volunteering it was!
Summer Youth Outreach – Week 3
This week was all about the animals! From domestic to wild, each youth organization this week got the chance to help or work with animals.
Youth Outreach – Week 2
After a busy first week of outreach, I was excited to get back into it with two more service projects this week. Going with a theme of senior outreach, I took two youth groups to two different facilities that serve seniors in our community: Scott Senior Center and Legacy Village.
Outreach 2022 – Week 1
Overall, this week was a great way to start my summer of outreach. I enjoyed spending time with kids from each of the youth organizations and can’t wait to see them to volunteer again soon!
