MLK Service Day 2023
Help Hands On Thomas County celebrate its 20th anniversary by making a commitment to volunteer in 2023! Our goal is to meet or exceed 20,000 service hours in our community this year. Your participation in MLK Service Day projects counts towards these hours, so let’s kick off our 20th anniversary in a big way – register to volunteer today!
On this national day of service, Americans of every age and background honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service projects that reflect the basic tenets of his life’s work: eradicating hunger and poverty, promoting literacy and education, improving and beautifying community spaces, and empowering people to make a positive difference in their own community. Learn more here.
Join Student Hands On Thomas County for projects happening in our community from Saturday, January 14 – Monday, January 16 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Volunteer registration is now open. If you would like to register a group of 10 or more, please contact our office at (229) 226-5200 or email us. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
