Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day

Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service projects that focus on hunger, poverty, safe housing, education, and community improvement.

Sign Up For Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day Volunteer Registration Is Now Open

This year, there are several days worth of projects you can participate in! Be sure to read carefully and check dates before registering…especially if you need service hours. Groups of 10 or more should call our office at 226-5200 to sign up. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Click buttons to learn more or sign up to volunteer.

DIY – Extended now  through 1/17!

Provide books to kids. Items due by noon on 1/17!

Saturday, 1/15

Sort, pack, and distribute food items to neighbors in need.

Monday, 1/17

Dress up as a favorite book character and read to kids.

Complete by 1/17

Experience a simulation of one of Dr. King’s speeches.

Items due 1/17

Provide hats and socks to benefit local agencies.

Items due 1/17

Knit, crochet, OR make no-sew scarves for local agencies.

*Up to 2 service hours will be offered for the DIY Walk. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you!
