Despite the stress, fatigue, mandatory clean-ups, and damage (thankfully, for the most part, minimal in our community) of a major hurricane plowing through 10 days earlier, our non-profit partners and volunteers rallied and united for the 15th Annual HOTC Day on October 20, 2018.

1350+ volunteers showed up and showed out at 65 different project sites benefiting 41 different non-profit and community agencies throughout Thomas County, not just on that one Saturday, but also during the week leading up to it, making it officially our first HOTC Day WEEK. We are always proud of our community, but even more so during this difficult time when people basically said, “We’re good. Life is good. Let’s get out and do the good things we’re supposed to…because we are fortunate enough to be able to do so.” We are truly one community with one mission – do good!

Thank you to everyone who supported and participated in this amazing day of service – volunteers, non-profit partners, donors, and sponsors – especially our Presenting Sponsor Ashley HomeStore! We couldn’t have asked for a better 15th anniversary present.
