Thomasville PD, Thomasville Fire Rescue and Thomas County EMS are hosting their holiday Wander with a First Responder event on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
They are seeking volunteers to help pass out 50-60 frozen turkeys and pantry boxes to the family members while the children shop with first responders. Food will be distributed from 4-6 p.m. at the El Jalisco parking lot.
All age volunteers are welcome, but volunteers should be able to lift 30 lbs.
***This is not a HOTC-hosted project. We are solely acting as a referral service for our non-profit partner. COVID-19 information: Masks, gloves, and social distancing are still highly encouraged. If you are immune-compromised and/or requested to self-quarantine, feeling unwell, have any symptoms of illness, or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please stay home and join us at a future opportunity. Please follow all current health guidelines by the CDC and local/state officials, and respect those of our non-profit partners and community agencies.
