Registration is FREE and includes a take-home project. All ages welcome, but projects are designed for ages 12 to adult; under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. You must sign up in advance to attend. Please be sure to read all information carefully before registering.
This is a no-frills service opportunity. Please bring anything you will need to be comfortable (hat, water, sunscreen, etc.), wear appropriate attire and closed-toe shoes.
***COVID-19 information: Please stay in your vehicle for drop-off/pick-up. Temperatures will be checked on arrival. Masks and gloves will be available, and social distancing is highly encouraged. If you are immuno-compromised and/or requested to self-quarantine, feeling unwell, have any symptoms of illness, or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please stay home and join us at a future opportunity. Please follow all current health guidelines by the CDC and local/state officials.
Project Impact summer programming is a part of Student HOTC, and combines service learning with hands-on volunteer experiences designed to get youth and adult leaders actively involved in community matters. Special thanks to to Ashley Homestore, Hurst Boiler, and Ms. Diane W. Parker; as well as the Thomasville Antiques Show Foundation for making volunteer programs like these possible.
