Election night is almost here which means it is time for Thomasville History Center‘s 29th Annual Chicken Pilau Dinner. Prepared and served on the History Center grounds over open fire in cast iron kettles, proceeds from this traditional southern supper supports the programs and preservation of our community’s rich history.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare the food (on 11/1) and serve the pilau dinner (on 11/2). Two-hour shifts available. This is a great opportunity to work with other members of the History Center and community.
Youth volunteers are welcome. Please be prepared to be inside, outside, standing, lifting, and carrying. All volunteers will be required to wear a mask and gloves.
