A delicious cajun-inspired meal was served by Capers Inc. Catering. The menu included mini muffaletta, bloody mary oyster shooters, cajun fried catfish and shrimp with remoulade, chopped salad, rice, chicken and sausage gumbo, and jalapeno cheddar corn bread. Yum! Dessert was Kings (cup)Cakes by Maries Cakes. A few lucky guests found a traditional baby in their cupcake and took home a prize. Prizes were also presented for Best Mask (Randle Johnson) and Best Krewe (Blue Bell Creameries).

More than 185 revelers turned out for a great evening for a great cause featuring delicious cuisine by JB Crumbs, a Goof Booth by Florina R. Photography and the foot-stomping zydeco sounds of Zydeco Zoo. New Orleans street signs, hundreds of strings of beads, feathers and masks transformed The Uno Hill Barn at Pebble Hill into our own little slice of Mardi Gras right here in Thomasville.
Party-goers also participated in a silent auction and raffles, grossing nearly $17,000 just that evening to benefit HOTC volunteer and community service programs.
Thank you to all our sponsors, donors, volunteers and participants who helped to make it such a special night! We’re already looking forward to next year!
