American Red Cross South Georgia Chapter
The South Georgia Chapter now covers 11 counties – Brooks, Colquitt, Cook, Echols, Decatur, Grady, Lanier, Lowndes, Mitchell, Seminole and Thomas. When disaster strikes, this chapter offers various services to the approximately 300,000 people residing in these counties.

Thomasville Entertainment Foundation
Founded in 1937, Thomasville Entertainment Foundation (TEF) is a volunteer-led, nonprofit 501(3)(c) organization serving the South Georgia/North Florida region. TEF’s annual concert series features internationally celebrated artists in the fields of opera, theater, dance, classical music, jazz and other forms of entertainment. Additionally, the organization provides concerts, classes and workshops for area students and awards scholarships and travel grants to outstanding young musicians.

The Society operates the Museum of History and the Lapham-Patterson House Museum to preserve, interpret, and share Thomas County history.
