The goals and objectives of Hands On Thomas County include linking individuals with volunteer agencies that have a need for volunteers, developing new projects that will best service the needs of our community, uniting diverse groups of people through volunteerism, promoting flexible and creative volunteer activities that will appeal to people with busy schedules and to help individuals recognize what they have to offer their community.

Hands On Thomas County's staff will make information about where help is needed and how to get involved readily available, will encourage Thomas County's youth to participate in volunteer activities, and will encourage partnerships between non-profit organizations and area businesses. To recruit and train new volunteers and to acquaint the community with Hands On Thomas County, volunteer orientation programs are offered on a regular basis.
